NEW MOON 101:

Women have been gathering in circle on the new moon to support each other heal, grow, and manifesting their deepest longings for themselves and their families for ages. 

The Global Sisterhood movement has helped revive this ancient practice of circling within our modern culture with over 15,000 women’s circles seeded and growing in over 100 countries.  

Each circle gathers on the new moon. Why?

Because the new moon is a potent time to do our self-growth work, set intentions, and manifest.  It’s helpful to do this work at home for our solo practice but also in a circle with women (join us for our next circle by clicking here).

We believe that part of the reason why so many of us live feeling anxious, afraid, and unfulfilled is due to the fact that much of western culture lives disconnected from the wisdom of Earth and the "power" or "magic" within nature's cycles.  

Ultimately, this means that most of the western culture lives disconnected from feminine spiritual practice, The Great Mother, or Divine Feminine presence alive within all of nature and each one of us.  This is the reason why life can feel empty for so many. 

However, rituals aligned with the moon cycles, seasons of nature, and seasons of our lives will help us connect with the mysterious feminine power and intelligence 

How to approach your ritual:

On the next new moon, reserve one hour of alone time.

1. Download your ritual and print out the worksheet (or copy it into a journal)

2. Find a quiet place either outside or at home.

3. Light candles and have a fire.

4. Have tea, chocolate, a journal and pen with you.

5. Have a beautiful song cued up and ready to play after the ritual is done (dancing helps to integrate it). 

6. Celebrate the work you did by treating yourself to something nourishing or fun!
